WRW & Co. is a custom made furniture design company, passionate about creating bespoke design solutions for any space or home.
We believe in using recycled and sustainably managed timber wherever possible, with each custom piece of furniture made in our workshop in Raglan and showroom in Matakana, New Zealand. We love to showcase the story behind the materials rather than disguising it’s often rugged scars from a past life, ensuring each piece is truly unique. Inline with the needs of our clients, we often combine these materials with steel, copper and even leather, to create a fresh and more contemporary aesthetic.
WRW & Co. offers not only custom made furniture solutions for residential and commercial clients, but also provides interior design consultation for projects big and small. A natural flair for seeing the potential in any space, combined with creative thinking and enviable practical skills, ensures great outcomes can be achieved on even the smallest of budgets. Will can either come to you for an initial consultation, or clients love an excuse to come to Raglan and see the workshop for themselves.
Born from humble beginnings in an old abandoned wool shed on a farm in Raglan, WRW & Co’s workshop is now based in a repurposed surfboard factory overlooking the estuary. This provides constant inspiration which reinforces their design ethos of simple, yet high quality craftsmanship to create one-off pieces made from natural materials.
Alongside commissioned work, WRW & Co. continues to create their own furniture collection which can be viewed in our Shop in Matakana opening in November by appointment , or the Raglan Workshop. Alternatively view items available now.
William Rupert Worsp
Will is the founder of WRW & Co. and grew up on a Waikato farm north of Raglan. Will was educated in Auckland before graduating from Otago Art School. After working in the creative departments on various film sets, Will headed off to travel the world by working on super yachts. This was followed by a stint in London where he project managed interior fit outs for brands such as GAP, H&M and Selfridges as well as restaurants and accommodation. However, New Zealand’s rugged countryside and an untapped desire to work with wood, finally lured him home to try his hand at designing and making furniture from reclaimed timbers. The unique first time pieces had such a great response from an Auckland design store, it cemented Will’s desire to start his own business…and from there, WRW & Co. was born!
Affectionately known as “Frenchie”, Faustin was drawn to Raglan by his love of surfing. Never did he imagine that he would be able to combine his two loves in one place…until he was introduced to Will and WRW & Co. Faustin brings his keen technical skills, honed from his training in Paris in cabinet making, interior fit outs, as well as his impeccable freehand and CAD drawing skills which helps bring WRW’s designs to life.
